History

Chips are basically plastic money in the shape of a coin with a specific colour or e.g. a design along its edges. Both online and real-life casinos use these chips. In online casinos, the chips have been realistically modelled to look like their real-life counterparts and players can purchase them by exchanging their money. The value of the player’s chips will be the same as the value of the money they exchanged. Of course, they can choose between different values for their chips; a chip can have a value of 1 euro or 100 euro, for example.
